Where to start when it comes to marketing?

Marketing

Traditionally, the foundations of any company’s marketing should be included in the creation of the new business. These are solid pillars from which emerge the efforts that will be made throughout its operation, and from which the subsequent plans are derived for each necessary stage. This base is what a top marketing company looks for when it is hired to carry out marketing campaigns.

Often, however, a marketing focus has not necessarily been developed over time, and the owners of the business are oriented more towards the sale of products and services and not the promotion and branding of the business itself.

When you have nothing to support the marketing efforts in your company, it is necessary to create such support. This does not mean that you have to stop everything and wait until the structure is completed to perform marketing functions; in these cases, the focus needs to be carrying out relevant activities to create an advertising identity and, at the same time, support sales.

Standardizing the image of the company is a very important aspect of your overall marketing process. This particular action helps your customers and consumers, in general, to identify your brand and brand products easily and makes them easier to remember.

The colors, design, logo and even the packaging are all just pieces in a marketing strategy. You can find an example at any toy store: if you walk down the aisles, you will be able to point out the different brands just by the packaging! Some of the most popular brands have bright pink, yellow or blue, some others are combinations of colors and letters from the logo, such as the world-famous Lego whose packaging may change colors, however, the highlighted letters over a red background are very hard to miss or confuse.

Some other areas are also supported by marketing efforts. These include (but are not limited to) the company identity, which is the way people can tell one company from another; consumer perception, which is how people see your company and your products;  brand recognition, which is how well any given person can tell that a product or service belongs to a particular brand; sales are also supported by marketing efforts.

Well-targeted advertising and promotion encourage customers to develop a degree of brand loyalty and to share their love of purchasing our products or services with friends and family.
